This week-end we took a trip to West Texas
It was amazing, God's artistry never fails
to capture the beauty of our ever changing
surroundings. His unique hand is upon
all things. We just have to look about to see
His glory.
As we travelled further west we came upon
thousands of windmills. I was so fascinated
with their quiet beauty .
In the distance on top of a mesa
they could be seen from miles
away. They reminded me of
a hill called Calvary , where Jesus in His
own quiet beauty had stood and suffered and
died for my sins.
Like those windmills, he was forging a way
for the winds of change to blow across the
land. We were all given the
opportunity to change and offered everlasting
life with Him and the Father.
Take advantage of the winds of change that may
blow through your life. God loved you enough to
sacrifice His only Son to save you.
I do not know how anyone who says that they do not believe in God can look at things like you have described in your blogs (red birds, doves, scenic beauty, etc.)and really say that God is not real.
ReplyDeleteWe are told in the Bible that we are without excuse because nature even is an expression of God. The beauty of the oceans, mountains, clouds in the sky all speak that God is real and He is worthy of honor and glory.
Yet He, in all His majesty, has numbered the hairs in my head (which are getting fewer each day) because He loves me and knows me so well. It is truly humbling to think about.
Even the winds of change do not surprise our God. It is comforting to know the one and only God who knows all things.
