Church Night

We are so fortunate to live in a country
where we have the freedom and privilege
to go to church. I love Wednesday's
and Sunday's and am always excited
over the prospect of
being able to go to services.

The thought of studying God's Word and
praising His name with song and in fellowship
causes an excitement in my soul.

I pray for those who do not know God and pray
for those who do and may not have the same
privileges that we do in this country
to worship freely.
Our missionaries around the world are always
in my prayers for the wonderful work they do.

Let us boast in the LORD and the mighty and
amazing things he does for us. Pray for America,
and that we as Americans will always put God first
in all that we do.

  1. I, too, am excited about going to church on Wednesdays and Sundays. It's like getting your spiritual "tank" filled when you gather with other like-minded believers and share praises and prayer requests.

When I hear how God is working and answering prayers it really makes me want to participate and meet God where He is working.

God delights in showing Himself strong on our behalf when we seek Him. When we assemble together as God has told us to, it is as iron sharpens iron. We strengthen each other and love each other more.

During this difficult time with all the turmoil going on in our world, the power of prayer is vitally important. Lord, help us to pray more effectively for our nation and the world.
