Thankful Heart

Last night it was so beautiful outside.
The air was crisp and clear with the
smell of fall.
The sky was brillant with its blanket
of stars. It almost took my breath away.
God was so good in creating this wonderful,
amazing world for us. My heart hurts for
those who do not know of the "wonder" of Him.
That they miss the love he has for us.

His love surrounds us, it is evident in all that
we encounter and take so for granted. The wind,
and the stars, the rain and the sun. The rythym
of the world speaks of His Power and Majesty.
More than anything this world has to offer, I am
most thankful that I know of His love.

  1. I have often wondered how some people can claim that God does not exist and yet all of nature shows God's handywork. Just think - God has created us and all of the living creatures to live here among the stars, moon, sun and earth.

How very complex we are - yet God knows each one of us so well that He has numbered the hairs on our heads. Every fiber of our being is designed for a specific purpose. How sad that we so often misuse our bodies and minds.

God deserves all of our love, attention, praise and worship. Too often we find ourselves too busy to take time to thank God for creating us, loving us, and caring for us.
Yet when we need God we expect Him to be there for us.

Help us, Father, to take time to smell the roses and share with others how wonderful you are. The best way to thank you is to share you with others.
