Influence

As Christians our goal in
loving other people should
be that they see the love
of Christ in us.

We are all different and God
uses us each in our own individual
way. He has equipped us all with
our own special gifts, abilities,
interests and talents.
He then uses that to make our
service to Him exactly what the
people around us need.

  1. The thing we tend to forget about our influence is that it can be good or bad. Others are watching us every day. Many times we do not even realize when others are watching.

Our words and actions speak volumes for us. Sometimes our words and actions reveal our true motives. Other times we can mask our true motives to deceive others into thinking we are doing things for their good instead of for our own good at their expense.

Thank God that He knows our true motives and our most heartfelt desires and cares. Lord, I pray that You will check my motives and guard my tongue so that I will not, knowingly or not knowingly, influence anyone in a bad way.
